There are many reasons why I love the Fall season: the landscape colors, the freedom to layer clothes and be more creative, and the texture variety. Fall is that season when you can mix different textures in different hues to create stand-out outfits. And yes, this is mostly done with clothes and shoes, but let's not forget handbags. In Autumn, textures such as suede, leather, fur, sequins, tweed, velvet, corduroy take centerstage in fashion, from jackets to boots to handbags. And lately, suede textures have been trending for purses. Whether it's a slouchy tote or a small bucket bag, suede has been dominating in the handbag department. I am a fan of suede, and I especially like it when it's mixed with smooth leather. So of course, when I spotted the Coach Tabby in Maple Shadow Brown, I knew I had to add it to my purse collection.

A Versatile Classic with Modern Edge

The Coach Tabby 26 features a soft structured design and classic silhouette making it the perfect everyday bag. I love the adjustable chain strap that makes it easy to wear as a shoulder bag, a cross-body bag, or a handbag. This is a bag that can easily transition from office workwear to night-out events or even casual weekend errands.

The Perfect Blend of Fall Colors

You can't spell Fall without brown so seeing how this piece blended different shades of brown with a hint of black was a total selling point for me. I also love that the bag incorporates the texture of the moment: suede. That makes it such a great match for brown suede boots, dark brown leather boots, or even black loafers. The color play is one that will effortlessly bring maximum Fall feels to any outfit. And it can go for other seasons as well — think Winter, Summer and Spring — if you prefer neutral and brown tones for your handbags.

The Quilting Details

I've said it but have to say it again: I love texture, not only when different materials are juxtaposed, but also dimensional texture that can be felt. And that's why I love the Coach Tabby in the quilted version. It oozes a Chanel-like classic aura that makes a statement without being too flashy. It's for sure a way to showcase your fashion peculiarity and penchant for refined details.

For more of a statement outfit, I paired printed wide-leg pants with a statement bandage jacket and my Coach Tabby. I like that the outfit is full of details and texture without being overwhelming (at least for me!)

The Coach Tabby also pairs well with blue jeans outfits. Here I wore it with ankle-length wide-leg jeans, a longline brown jacket and snakeprint boots. Another outfit that is rich in detail, structure, and Fall vibes. I wore this for a coffee date with my husband and some downtown errands.

When in doubt, I like to go for a monochrome color palette such as this black-brown one. I paired seamed jeans with a lace-up sweater and chunky accessories for an easy yet distinctive look. The Coach Tabby was the perfect finishing touch to spice up the monochrome vibe.

You're always going to need a silk scarf. It's a surefire way to elevate a look and add some French chic to your vibe. And if you're shopping for a silk scarf this season, go with a leopard one for a trendy touch. This brown pleated skirt and red graphic sweatshirt outfit balances edge with chic allure thanks to the leopard scarf. I wore it as a neckerchief to play up the sweater's crew neck, coordinate with the brown tones, and add some pattern to the color-blocked look.

Another way to style a leopard silk scarf is to pair it with a denim shirt dress. I went for a casual utility-style mini dress and tied the scarf around the collar to elevate the look.

For a night-out outfit, wear your leopard scarf as an exxagerated neck tie over a white fitted top paired with a sequin skirt and silky bomber jacket.

2. Wear Leopard Shoes

Who doesn't love leopard shoes? They are such a snazzy alternative to the typical beige neutrals and bring some serious edge to an outfit. Whether it's boots, pumps, or the trendy ballet flats, a little animal print will put some pep in your step and make you feel extra confident. For an easy yet out-of-the-ordinary office outfit, I wore extra wide-leg pants with a bodysuit and a cropped leather jacket. I finished the look with a pair of high-heel leopard booties from Stuart Weitzman. I've had those for 14 years y'all! If this isn't proof that leopard is always in, I don't know what is! I was going for a polished vibe in neutral hues and I love how a little leopard action really elevated the outfit.

3. Try a leopard top

Mesh has been having a moment. I don't love it in everything but definitely like a good basic mesh top such as the one I wore in this outfit. I paired dark brown wide-leg jeans with a cropped oversized leather jacket for a cool, urban fit. The leopard mock neck mesh top makes this look more interesting and plays well with the dark and light brown color theme. To spice up the look even more, I went for my Tomoli Briffani Jut leather handbag in red.
