Rocking a Mesh Midi Dress for Work (and Play)

Mesh is back in the spotlight, and I'm not mad about it! I spotted this blue number while I was returning an online order at the Abercrombie store at Mall of America and could not pass it up! I took it to the dressing room, tried it on, and knew it had to come home for more try-ons with my shoes and bags! It's a midi bodycon-style dress with long sleeves and a beautiful abstract print. I completely stan for the high quality of the material and the modest lining as it makes it appropriate for a range of settings, including the office. And the bonus with this piece is that it comes in tall sizes for the rest of us who need the extra length, because who wants a midi dress to stop at their knees? Not me!

My first outfit with this fitted mesh midi dress was more of an office look. I went for matching blue suede heels and a blue bucket bag to create a monochromatic effect. As much as I love an all-black outfit, I also relish some good, colorful coordinated action! You could take the look a step further into workwear with a navy blue blazer and a large tote. And, for more of a casual vibe, you could swap the heels for sneakers and add a denim jacket. This is a versatile dress that is easy to style, can multitask from desk to off-hours, and feels super comfortable for Spring and Summer.
