Get Into Bold Prints With The J.Crew x CJR Collection

When Christopher John Rogers and J.Crew join forces, you know you're in for a bold fashion treat! The collaboration, launched earlier this Fall, is an exquisite fusion of CJR's bold color plays and strong silhouettes with J.Crew's classic and streamlined aesthetics. Browsing the pieces, you can't help being captivated by extra wide, color-blocked stripes, striking metallics, and graphically bold prints that only CJR can pull off! I'm a fan of prints, and I'm especially partial to bold prints so of course I had to check out the sculpted skirt in duchesse satin and its matching jacket in the dot mixy print.
What drew me to those pieces was first that I could wear them as a matching set if I wanted. And we know a matching set is an easy way to take the guessing game out of getting ready. Another selling point for me was the print itself: it's unique, packs a lively punch, and just offers a refreshing contrast from typical Fall fashion. The fabric quality was another reason I decided to give these jacket and skirt a whirl. They are made of a structured satin material that gives off just enough sheen to elevate a look without being over the top. And of course, I love how the classic cuts balance the bold print, creating a more versatile vibe.
For my first look with these pieces, I paired the skirt and jacket for a maximalist allure. To keep the focus on the print, I opted for a neutral cami and neutral shoes that blended with the color palette. I wore this look to an afternoon social event, and let me tell you, it made a memorable impression! I received a ton of compliments and felt super bold inside. You know how an outfit can make you feel like you can run the world and go for any adventure and just be fearless? Well, that was my experience! Want to know what that feels like? Shop this CJR x J.Crew colorful printed outfit and let me know in the comments how it feels to rock it!
Fit-wise, I should note these pieces are tall-girl friendly so perfect for my five foot eleven stature, which means they might be a little long if you're of petite or average height.
