Remember this post where I was debating whether or not barrel jeans would earn staple status in our wardrobes? Well, I think they have definitely made their way up there with the skinny jeans and straight-leg denim. I recently purchased a pair of high-waisted Calvin Klein Barrel jeans and am absolutely in awe of them! I love the non-stretch, more classic denim material, the exxagerated barrel silhouette, and the fact that they are high-waisted! I can already picture so many outfits with them, with pieces already in my closet, such as an oversized button-down shirt and a belt, a turtleneck sweater or even a cropped jacket. For the first look, I opted for a longline cinched blazer in a burgundy hue to vibe with the Fall season, and went for velvet burgundy pumps for an easy glam touch. Elevated casual doesn't get better than polished jeans and a blazer!
