Linen Season: 6 Ways to Style Linen Pants During the Summer

Summer is always better with these three things: ice cream, the beach, and linen. And by linen, I mean that light, woven fabric that helps you keep your cool (pun intended) on those scorching hot Summer days. This comfortable and versatile fabric comes in all shapes and forms including shirts, dresses, shorts, and pants too. Check out these 6 outfit ideas for some inspiration the next time you think about wearing linen pants.

1. Linen Pants with Colorful Blouses

Needless to say, linen season is also color season so don't shy away from mixing and matching colors. I went for green and yellow tops here, but you know that the options with color-blocking are endless so go ahead and be as adventurous as you feel like!

2. Linen Pants with a Belted Blazer

One thing I've been loving lately is adding a pop of color to otherwise monochromatic looks to give them that extra oomph. Here I opted for aqua blue on brown because earth and sea will forever be a match!

3. Linen Pants with a Casual Bodysuit

Brown and black makes such a killer combo, doesn't it? I came upon this halter bodysuit at Abercrombie and was instantly sold! The halter neckline, the simple cut, the close it and comfortable knit fabric elevate it to staple status. For weekend errands and outings, I just added wide-leg brown linen pants, My Stuart Weitzman espadrille sandals, a straw belt and accessories to spice it all up!

4. Linen Pants with a Printed Blouse

If you've been following me, then you know that I love a good print, be it bold or understated. And speaking of understated, animal print is a no-fail choice when it comes to adding some pattern to your look while still keeping it classic. Here I paired light leopard print blouse with brown linen pants and my favorite waist belt for a breezy yet sophisticated look that's perfect for the office and beyond.

5. Linen Pants with a Short Sleeve Linen Shirt

Linen on linen? yes please! Playing matchy-matchy with fabrics is a move that will never fail. I went for an easy yet super classy vibe with a short sleeve white linen shirt, brown linen pants, a bold belt, and tons of accessories because they do make a difference. This neutral palette is as suitable for the office as it is for errands and outings.
