Halloween Vibe!

Anytime, Anywhere

There are days when the morning routine doesn’t go as smoothly as I’d like. Symptoms of those days are endless alarm snooze, crabby feelings, and inability to pick a work outfit. On those days, i just reach for a pencil skirt and a blouse. I have been loving the Express Portofino blouses. They are the perfect fit for the office, or a casual look with jeans. And best of all, they offer a generous selection of colors and patterns. The pencil skirt is new from the White House Black Market Fall 2016 collection. I cannot get enough of the stud detail and the front slit that make this effortless outfit look like you invested a lot time into getting ready!

Gingham Style

Anytime, Anywhere

The gingham pattern has been on trend this year. From macro squares to micro designs, the fashion industry has done a great job taking this print to new levels. Back in my elementary school days, gingham was the school uniform pattern, and so it took me a while to join the gingham movement outside of the school context. I love this black and white skirt by The Limited! It is true midi length, stretchy, and classy. I paired it with a blouse from Express, and black Cole Haan pumps for a business casual look.

Ring the Bells!!!

Anytime, Anywhere

I am in loveeee with this Banana Republic dress. It is comfortable, classy, seasonless, and so versatile! It is made of some type of ponte material which we all know means nice stretch and recovery. I think two things make this dress the exquisite piece that it is: the short bell sleeves, and the stripes. The sleeves add a feminine and polished touch, while the stripes give it structure. And you know how I feel about stripes… LOVE STRIPES!!! I paired it with pearls and black Cole Haan pumps for a dressier look.

The dress is currently on sale so hurry and get yours before it’s all gone!

Fun Colored Skinny Pants

Anytime, Anywhere

What can I say… I fully embraced the bright color bottom trend when it bubbled a few years back. Colorful pants or skirts are such an easy way to differentiate yourself from the crowd, because most of us still feel more comfortable with the conventional black or neutral color pants, especially in the corporate environment. But pairing those fun pieces with a black jacket is the simple way to restore “business” to your outfit!
